The blade handle is two pieces, which when unscrewed can slip over the back of the blade. This is a vintage roller razor sharpener, made in england, in original case, 1920s. When used properly, this system can maintain the blade for several lifetimes worth of shaves. What you see is exactly what I will send to you.

Great vintage condition. This is a complete razor system. There is rust on the pin that holds the blade. While the blade is inside the frame, the leather 'strop' lid and stone 'hone' lid are used alternately be moving the operation handle back and forth hone first, then strop to maintain the edge on the blade.

It is a beauty. When re tightened it will grip the blade for shaving.
